Wanzhao Chemical has developed a unique process to prepare high-quality environmentally-friendly flame-retardant masterbatch, which can be specifically aimed at replacing or partially replacing inorganic environmentally-friendly flame-retardant materials (flame-retardant powder and masterbatch) with halogen-containing flame-retardant system. The basic idea is that nano-inorganic flame-retardant is coated with organic environmentally-friendly flame-retardant, which makes up for the shortcomings of limited application of conventional flame-retardant products due to singleness, environmental protection and cost factors. The product is compounded with PP/PE to form environmentally-friendly flame retardant masterbatch with polyolefin carrier, which can be widely used in PE/PP cable material, rubber flame retardant, and some halogen-free flame retardant systems. Replacing or partially replacing a single flame retardant material in bromine, antimony system and halogen-free flame retardant cable material system has obvious effect.
In application, it is suggested that the amount of masterbatch is 10-20% and powder is 5-15% (partially replacing the original flame retardant system), which can be evenly mixed, modified and extruded or directly molded into products; In addition to the flame retardant function, masterbatch has obvious effects on the heat resistance and mechanical properties of products.
Features:
1, the nano inorganic-organic coating is environment-friendly and flame-retardant, and has high dispersion and compatibility with PE/PP; It makes up for the deficiency of conventional flame retardant materials due to singularity;
2. The effective functional components such as Si, Al, Mg, Ti, C and other organic and inorganic nucleation are mainly heat-resistant and oxidation-resistant;
3. The processing temperature of the master batch is 130-200℃;
4. Masterbatch: 10-20% and powder 5-15% can replace or partially replace 10-20% of the original halogen-containing flame retardant system; And can obviously improve the heat resistance and mechanical properties of the original material system.
Dosage:
masterbatch that can replace or partially replace the original halogen (conventional flame retardant) system: 10-20%, powder 5-15% (depending on the application), and the flame retardant effect remains UL V 0;
Methods:
In the process of mixing the original PE/PP flame retardant system, the master batch (in proportion), processing AIDS, colors and fillers were put into a (medium) high mixer for uniform mixing.
